Our goal is to connect motivated buyers with properties, offering flexible terms that make ownership attainable while ensuring sellers achieve their financial goals.

About Nicholas Carlson:

Life has been a journey of growth, faith, and perseverance. My Christian faith is at the core of everything I do, shaping how I approach challenges, relationships, and success. Through daily scripture, meditation, and prayer, I’ve learned to trust in God’s timing and embrace both the highs and lows.I’ve always been driven and curious, pushing myself in fitness, business, and personal growth. Wrestling for nine years taught me discipline and resilience, lessons that still guide me today. I love UFC, concerts, and music festivals, and I believe life is meant to be lived fully.

What Changed Me

In October, I took a step that changed my life—I got more involved in my church’s 20s ministry. Since joining, the group has more than doubled in size, and being part of a thriving community has pushed me in my faith and personal growth. I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve built—ones where I can be vulnerable, supported, and challenged to grow.Surrounding myself with people who are intentional about their faith, their future, and how they show up in the world has made me reflect on the kind of leader, friend, and person I want to be.

What Drives Me

I want to build something real—not just in business, but in life. My passion is rooted in service—helping others, solving problems, and making an impact. I believe success isn’t just about financial freedom; it’s about creating a life that attracts incredible people who inspire me, push me to grow, and are doing meaningful things. In a world filled with chaos, I choose to focus on what I can control, stay positive, and live with purpose. I stay out of politics, lead with integrity, and strive to be someone who creates opportunities and lifts others up along the way.

My Vision for the Future

I want to design a life where I have the freedom to spend my time how I choose, with the people I want to be around, doing things that excite me. My goal is to push myself and inspire others to strive for their highest potential. Whether in business, relationships, or personal growth, I believe success is about creating something meaningful, helping people in a real way, and living in alignment with my values.

Let’s Connect

If any of this resonates with you, let’s talk. Whether it’s to collaborate, share insights, or explore opportunities, I’m always open to conversations that lead to something bigger.

Getting a little more Personal

What’s one thing I’ve done in my life that changed me?

In October, I made the decision to get more involved in my church’s 20s ministry, and it has been one of the most impactful experiences of my life. When I first joined, the group was much smaller, but in a short time, it has more than doubled in size. Being part of a growing community of people who share the same values has pushed me deeper into my faith, personal growth, and relationships.

What’s been truly life-changing is the authenticity and support within this group. It’s rare to find a space where you can be vulnerable, honest, and truly supported, and I’ve built friendships that challenge me to be better—not just in my faith, but in how I live my life. Surrounding myself with people who are intentional about their goals, values, and impact on the world has strengthened my perspective on what truly matters.

This experience has reminded me that success isn’t just about what you accomplish—it’s about who you’re becoming and the people you surround yourself with. And I’m grateful to be walking this path alongside others who push me to grow in all areas of life.

What’s a unique trait or skill I’ve developed?

Patience.

Entrepreneurship has taught me patience in ways I never expected. When things aren’t moving at the pace I envisioned, I’ve learned to step back and recognize that I’m working on an expanded time horizon—success isn’t instant, and there’s no such thing as an overnight success.

But more importantly, I’ve learned that it’s not my timing, but God’s. While I have to do my part—showing up, putting in the work, and staying disciplined—I also have to trust that His plan is greater than mine. Some doors take longer to open for a reason, and I’ve come to see that patience isn’t just about waiting, but about trusting the process and knowing that what’s meant for me will come at the right time.

This mindset has shaped how I approach business, relationships, and life itself. It’s helped me stay grounded, avoid shortcuts, and embrace the journey rather than chase immediate results.

What is my professional background or experience?

After graduating in December 2020 from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, I quickly realized that the traditional path into Corporate America didn’t resonate with me. I was searching for something different—something that aligned with my desire for freedom, ownership, and impact. Around that time, I read Rich Dad Poor Dad, and that book completely shifted my mindset. It sparked the inspiration to dive into real estate investing and take control of my own path.

I started out wholesaling in Southwest Florida, cold-calling and prospecting for distressed real estate to help sellers out of tough situations. I would package up these opportunities for investors looking to revitalize homes and earn a profit—while making a cut for doing the legwork. It was my first step into real estate problem-solving, and it taught me how to negotiate, structure deals, and create value in ways that go beyond just buying and selling properties.

To level up, I joined mentorships and real estate communities, surrounding myself with people who had more experience and could challenge me to think bigger. Through that, I expanded my tool belt with creative ways to structure deals and solve complex problems that didn’t always have a straightforward answer.

In 2024, I launched Your Car Buying Advocate, a business that allows me to act as a trusted agent for car buyers, protecting them from the typical dealership headaches—pushy salespeople, hidden fees, and wasted time. This has been one of the most rewarding ventures I’ve taken on, not just because of the financial success, but because of the real impact I see in my clients' lives. They’re incredibly appreciative, and it feels good knowing I’m providing a service that truly protects and benefits them in a way they wouldn’t get on their own.

YCBA has become my superpower—a source of active income that fuels my larger vision. I’m using the knowledge, experience, and capital I’ve built over the last four years to start acquiring real estate. The long game has always been about building a portfolio, creating financial freedom, and positioning myself to have control over my time and future.

At my core, I’m an entrepreneur, problem solver, and investor—always learning, always adapting, and always looking for ways to create win-win opportunities in both real estate and business.

What motivates me to keep going, even on tough days?

Without a doubt, my faith is what keeps me grounded and moving forward. I read scripture daily, meditate on the Word, and stay in constant prayer throughout the day. No matter what challenges I face, I know God is always with me, guiding my steps and reminding me that every obstacle has a purpose.

I also can’t forget about my parents—they’ve been incredibly supportive throughout my entrepreneurial journey. They’ve given me the space to figure things out on my own while still trusting in my vision and loving me through the ups and downs. That kind of support is something I never take for granted.

Then, there are my friends—even when they don’t always fully understand the path I’ve chosen, they believe in me and support my vision. Knowing that I have people in my corner, cheering me on, gives me the strength to keep pushing.Things are always moving along, through peaks and valleys, and I’ve come to embrace that rhythm.

At the end of the day, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everything I have and all that God has blessed me with. No matter where I’m at in the journey, I remind myself that I’m exactly where I need to be, and that’s enough to keep going.

What’s a mistake you made that turned into a valuable lesson?

Growing up, I was a bit of a wild child. I got into substance abuse at a young age, experimenting at concerts and music festivals. What started as curiosity quickly spiraled into something darker, and through a few challenging times, I realized I was heading down a dangerous path—one that could have led to the worst possible outcomes.

Hitting what could be considered rock bottom was the wake-up call I needed. It forced me to take a hard look at my life, my choices, and where I was headed. But that moment wasn’t the end—it was a turning point. I got the help I needed, embraced the path to recovery, and most importantly, I gave my life over to Jesus. That decision changed everything.

Since then, I’ve been on a journey of self-development, faith, and purpose. I’ve come to understand that I am meant to be here—not just to build a successful life for myself, but to someday meet others who are where I once was and be a light in the world. I want to show people a way forward that I never knew existed when I was in that place.

Looking back, I don’t regret what I went through because it shaped me into the person I am today. I learned that redemption is real, growth is possible, and there’s always a path forward, no matter how lost you feel.

What inspired me to start this real estate journey?

My parents lost our home during the Great Financial Crisis. For years, they rented the house I grew up in, unable to regain homeownership. Without financial literacy, they lived paycheck to paycheck, never building real wealth to pass down.

That’s not to say they didn’t do an incredible job—they put me through college as a first-generation graduate, and I’ll always be grateful for their sacrifices. But seeing their struggles made me realize that if I wanted a different future, it was on me to change the trajectory of my family.

In college, a friend loaned me Rich Dad Poor Dad, and it shifted everything. I learned the difference between assets and liabilities, the importance of financial education, and how real estate was the common denominator in building wealth. That’s when I went all in, making mistakes, learning lessons, and gaining experience along the way.

The Bigger Mission

My passion goes beyond just making money—I want to help families like mine, the ones who are financially responsible but shut out of homeownership due to systemic challenges.

For years, my parents had no real path back to owning a home. And they weren’t alone. Homeownership is still a key to financial security, yet many families don’t have access to it. My vision is to help as many families as possible become homeowners through strategies like rent to own, giving them a real chance at stability and generational wealth.

This isn’t just about real estate—it’s about breaking cycles, creating opportunities, and giving people access to a future they didn’t think was possible.
